Oh Danny Boy...

So we think that will be his name. Daniel Stone B. I haven't updated in a while so here it goes. I'm currently in my 22nd week and I feel this kid everywhere!! He kicks, he sqirms, he twists and turns. It has become very reassuring. He growing very well. At the 20 week u/s where we saw his perfect heart and his perfect manhood he was measuring right on target. Since then I know we have both surpassed the size that we should be. I AM HUGE!! Although I lost sight of my feet, I do see the alien tricks being performed through my belly. Quite entertaining!!
We have begun to clean up the guest bedroom/office for this guy. And are heading toward moving Jacob into the twin size bed so we can free up the crib. I've been itching to pull out Jacob's old clothes, but can't quite do it yet. Maybe after the holidays.
An update to the asshat and piss jug....what a fiasco that was!! We have one and only one bathroom in our home. And it's the size of a closet. Seriously, your knees hit the cabinet in front of the toilet when you sit down, so you always have to sit kind of side ways. Anyway, it was an adventure. My asshat was placed in the john (I told DH to piss around it, but he always took it out). This left me doing the potty dance as I strategically replaced the asshat before pee started to run down my leg. Can't waste a drop, they said!! Combine this with Jacob's recent declaration of willingness to give the potty a try. He made this declaration one morning when he was naked and ran into the bathroom, He proceeded to put his hands on the toilet, but his dense parents didn't get the hint until he took a crap on the bathroom floor. Oh Well. I guess all was fine with my test as I have not heard anything from the doc.
I go back to the insulin guys on Monday and I go back to my OB on the 16th. That's it for now. Take care all.

A jug and an ass hat! Yippee!!

So I went back to the high risk guys again for my weekly appt. My usual doc wasn't there so I had to see one of the other docs in the practice. I am really not all that fond of him. I remember him from when I was pg with Jacob. Thank god this is not the practice that will be delivering my baby. Anyway, he changed the time that I am suppose to inject. Dr. D had me injecting before dinner so that if I had to do fast acting insulin it wouldn't be a separate shot. This guy wants me to inject before bed. Phoowey! I will wait and see Dr. D. again. As for the ass hat...I have to do a 24 hour urine collection. So they handed me my jug my papers and an ass hat (the collection hat you put in the toilet) and sent me on my merry way. No bag to put everything in. Nope. Just me waving my ass hat throught he air!!
And I had to drop my car off at the garage. E was going to try to pick me up but the possibility of me having to take the bus was there. Decision time. Do I leave the jug and ass hat in the jeep so the mechanics can get a chuckle or do I shove this crap under my arm and strut onto the bus. Luckily E showed up just in time. The jug and ass hat came with us.
