A quick hello

Just a quick hello. We have been very busy lately. Jacob turned 4 on May 6th (I can hardly believe he is 4 already). He had a great little birthday party with some friends and family. I always love his birthday because it is the first bbq of the year and really seems to kick off the summer. I will try to share some pics of his day later. It was very cute, the kids did a sack race (we used pillow cases). They also had a spongebob squarepants pinata. I think they had a good time. Jacob got his very first bike and he is doing OK on it. Unfortunately I put it together and it is not quite tight enough. Did you know you could completely wipe out on training wheels? Um yeah, but he's got spunk so he got back up and got pedaling again.

We have been working on our yard and garden every opportunity we get. I have planted so much and Ethan has mowed down about half of it. Ugh. Oh well. We had a little accident a few days ago. E was mowing the lawn and the kids were about 20 feet away when a rock spit out and hit Jacob in the face. He is looking a little Rocky Balboa-ish. Fortunately it missed his eye and we didn't need stitches, but now I have 2 guys to take care of. Jacob for his boo-boo and Ethan for his parental guilt.

Danny is still running me wild and is full of vim and vigor. He can now climb the chain link fence. Isn't that wonderful? Little shit. He is giving me lots and lots of grey hair. Ok I have to run.

Oooh He so Handsome

and that's his name too!! Girl, you better hope that boy does not grow up looking like he got hit upside the head with the ugly shovel. Yowzer Bowzer. Now who would name their child Handsom. Yes we all think our children are beautiful and they are but.....what kind of job or career are they going to have with a name like that. And if you're sitting there thinking "Oh, I like that name" Stop IT!!!!!!!!
