Thanks MIL, you stepped up.
MIL watched the kids and I went to the wake. The funeral service was this morning and g-mil watched the kids so E and I could go.
A journey through my pregnancy. My meltdowns (which I seem to have alot of), my triumphs, my worries and anxieties. And now the journey continues!! Life as a mommy of 2!!

So I am very fortunate to be able to have family come into my home throughout the week to care for my children. Someone comes at 1:30 when E goes to work and I get home at 4:30 and for the most part it works wonderfully. There are some sacrifices to be made, but the benefits outweigh them. Except for on nights like tonight.
Well Ethan has tried for 10 years what 2 kids have managed to do in under 3. I am domesticated. Just call me Martha "not quite" Stewart.
So I made pillow case things for SIL's cradle and thought I would try my hand at sewing some jammies for Danny. So here is the result of my first project. I still need to hand sew the buttons on, but other than that I think I did alright. I'm pretty happy and I think I cut off all of the extra threads so Danny doesn't end up entangled in some weird marienettish (sp) way.
at least to my in laws. I can laugh b/c the clothes came clean, but this is fairly typical of how they look upon their return. I have to say I do love that they aren't so uptight that they don't let the kids enjoy themselves, but c'mon people....isn't this a bit excessive?
